Zachary Senft
Chief Executive Officer and President

Zachary Senft is the CEO and President of Passavant Memorial Homes Family of Services (PMHFOS). Mr. Senft earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the A. J. Palumbo School of Business Administration at Duquesne University, with a double major in Economics and Leadership and Change Management. Mr. Senft further earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business at Duquesne University.

After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Senft joined UPMC Health Plan’s Division of Health Economics, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where his work focused on health and other insurance analytics and process enhancements. Thereafter, Mr. Senft transitioned to UPMC’s Department of Strategic Planning with UPMC’s Corporate Services Division. While working full time at UPMC Health Plan and UPMC, Mr. Senft simultaneously earned his MBA. Across his tenure at UPMC, Mr. Senft excelled, with multiple promotions within the organization, becoming Director of Strategic Planning at UPMC, during which time Mr. Senft led a team and portfolio of initiatives across UPMC focusing on strategy, analytics (in particular for flagship service lines, including neurosurgery, trauma care, and cardiothoracic surgery with the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute), program development, and business development efforts, including several successful UPMC acquisitions, integrations, and clinical affiliations.

After more than ten years with UPMC Health Plan and UPMC, Mr. Senft made the decision to utilize his skills, expertise, and experience to directly support the mission of PMHFOS and further enhance the organization’s impact for the individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and behavioral health needs that PMHFOS is privileged to serve. Accordingly, Mr. Senft joined PMHFOS in 2017, and, prior to his current role as CEO and President, Mr. Senft held leadership positions within the organization in Strategic Development and Operations, leading numerous strategic and operational enhancements impacting each department and entity across the organization. Immediately prior to becoming CEO and President, Mr. Senft served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of PMHFOS for more than five years.

As CEO and President of PMHFOS, Mr. Senft is focused on leading PMHFOS in furthering the organization’s impact, while staying true to its faith-based values and honoring its servant tradition. Mr. Senft is dedicated to empowering the individuals PMHFOS is privileged to serve to live successfully in their communities, ensuring each individual receives the highest quality services while promoting choice and independence, and recognizing and supporting the dedicated employees of PMHFOS for their continual efforts and the incredibly impactful services they provide.
